Willy (like Silly) is my so handsome HighPark bull. He was graciously donated to the farm to be part of our farm program, to let people get up close and touch, feed and learn about cows! He is a yearling and is a super sweet guy!
Waylon is a tiny Hereford cross mini bull. He was also donated to the farm to be part of our farm program. He is super small but has a big personality.
He's a handsome donkey guy with Egyptian eyeliner. Spanky came to the farm in 2014, he is roughly 9 years old. Spanky was adopted from The Humane Society Of North Texas and was a pretty sick boy when we took him in. Now he is cancer free, nice and robust and such a treat to have on the farm! He is very shy but loves carrots!
Spanky kicked a coyote in the face his first week as a guardian donkey! Good Boy Spanks!

This fine quarter horse came from a kill pen, he was destined to be sent to Mexico to be processed :( now he just eats and poops at his leisure.
Whiskey came to the farm in 2017 and is 13 years old. He likely was a roping horse in his previous days, he does know leg commands and how to spin and back up. He is a very easy keeper and he loves his herd of ladies. He likes to waste water by putting his legs in the trough and splash, splash, splashing all the water out. He also has a very large rump so I sing Baby Got Back to him almost daily.

She is a miniature horse and was born in Colorado. She is 16 years old and she has been my baby since she was a few months old!
Mamie is sweet as pie and so little! She has hair like the beloved icon Tina Turner.
Mamie loves to have her hay brought to her while she is laying down, and eats while relaxing. Sometimes you can find her suntanning with a giant smile on her face. She is my most tenured animal and I love her so.

This little miniature spit fire is 13 years old and sometimes sassy. She is super smart and can do tricks like kisses on command, hand shakes and opening latches on the gate to let all the goats in.
Pokie has a perfect circle on her little hiney and white "chaps" on her back legs. She enjoys having her hair braided and snacking on carrots.

Taters is a Narragansett turkey and he wants you to pay attention to him at all times. He is so handsome and big and so very friendly. He is also very good at sending text messages to my friends! We love him so!

We have 4 rescued potbelly pigs here at the farm! Dyson, Piggy Pie, Bucky and Queefy! They are sweet but a little timid around new people. If you sit down and offer them a snack they may give you some love!

Finley is the friendliest and shyest goat on the farm. Because of this we call him Friendly instead of Finley sometimes. He is 7 years old and he is one of my 3 original grand goats. Finley is the low man on the totem pole so he usually eats last and spends time alone frequently. We give him extra love to make sure he knows how special he is.

Pele is named after the soccer great who won 3 FIFA World Cups! As you can see from his shape, he is the thickest of all the goats, because he is the hungriest. Pele will also eat your clothes off of your body and you won't know it until you feel the breeze. Beware if you are wearing something with a drawstring, he loves to swoop the string like spaghetti!

Fluffy Butter is a very sweet little bunny girl. She is Wanda Brown's best fran and they can be found cuddling together most of the day. She is super cute and soft!

His real name is "Curry" but I can't bring myself to call him after a delicious Middle Eastern dish made with goat meat.
Curly is my grandgoat and lives on the farm, his Mom and Daddy live in San Antonio and they sponsor his care and feed.
He is a wonderful blue-eyed boy and we love him so!
Yes he is named after Tom Brady. He is a fan favorite because of how cute and friendly he is.
Brady is another of my grandgoats. His Mama and Daddy live in Sherman and sponsor him here on the farm!
Pixie has ears for days and came to the farm the summer of 2024 at about 4 months old! She is a Flemish Giant bunny and came all the way from Kansas! She was part of an Ag Program and was looking for a new home. We are happy to have her on our farm!
This is little miss Peanut! She is an 8 month old bottle fed Barbado mix baby who lost her mother shortly after birth. She was raised by a nice family nearby who found Sunshine's Farm online and reached out to see if we would be able to offer her a home. She is SOOOO wonderful! Peanut follows me around everywhere and loves Ranger. She lives with the pigs but I let her walk around the farm at free will during the day. You have got to meet her!

Boy Howdy do we have chickens!! Sunshine's Farm is home to roughly 40 chickens and roosters. We have bebes that hatch regularly. Chickens are wonderful animals that give us fresh eggs daily and help keep the bugs away. They also give us so much joy and laughter watching them scratch and peck around the farm.

ViVian Mew Mew 'aka' ViVi 'aka' MiMi is a Manx (tailless) cat and a wonderful mouser! She actually caught her first mouse when she was only 3 weeks old! She is 10 years old and loves loving. She enjoys walking on you while you sleep and even though she is small she turns into a stabby tabby with those little pointy feet! She also enjoys eating mice, birds and rabbits in the house on the carpet.
Who doesn't love the waddle of a duck or the slappy sound of little wet baby duckling feet! Here on the farm we have 17 ducks. Pictured is Daisy Duck, the mama, Prince, the daddy and 3 bebes that hatched out a few weeks ago. So cute!
We are currently under a severe drought and our duck pond has dried completely up, so we are supplementing with pools and additional water sources for them to use to preen their feathers and to filter their food.
Our extreme water usage for the ducks and horses during these super hot months could really use some support.

These two lavender guineas are our watch dogs and snake/tick/weed eaters. We call them the mafia because they take care of the riff raff that invade their boundaries. When new people come to the farm, they alert us with a loud "Eahhh eahhhh" call. They also alert the entire farm when there is a predator threatening the farm. You should see the chickens and goats run when they hear the guinea sirens go off!
I use their unique spotted feathers in lots of my crafting projects.

Mr. Puss is also a Manx and is such a good hunter, he is also such a tough man. At 10 years old, he is ViVi's brother by the same mother but different daddies. Puss has survived two copperhead bites, being treed by a coyote and being accidentally shut in the storage room in the summer. He has the MOST adorable pink nose and purrs very loud!
Goodness Gracie is a 6 year old Charcoal lab that came to join our family just a few months ago! We are so happy to have her. She is extremely sweet and shy and lays on the couch so much that we will never know when she starts to slow down from old age. We look forward to many years with this sweet lady in our family. Welcome to the fam Gracie Goo Goo!
This is our most handsome man. The sweetest boy on the planet. Ranger is a Silver lab and is 9 years old. Hims is juicy and yummy and holds our hearts in his big paws. He loves playing "hut hut" football and drinking every drink from the shower because fresh water is life.
Deaux Deaux is hilarious and so smart and always big hungry. When people see him they always say he's so fat, but the truth is he is English and just heavy duty. Robust if you will. He has the tallest butt I've ever seen and looks like he is wearing mom pants. We love you Doo Doo Dog!
