dedicated to those we have lost

Having a farm is a wonderful experience, however it's not for the faint of heart.  Over the years we have lost some beloved pets and this page is to honor their memory and all the love and laughs they brought to us. Please say a prayer for all those we have lost.

Our Beloved babies

Goodness Gracie the Goo Goo Girl

Sadly we lost this sweet girl in 2025.  She passed away in her sleep in her favorite spot on the couch.  We are grateful for the time we had her and we hope she enjoyed her last years being spoiled.  When we brought her home, she had never been inside a house or walked on a leash. At 6 years old, it took some time for her to realize she could get on the couch and sleep in the bed anytime she wanted to.  She loved all the animals and even "nursed" our bottle baby lambs even though she didn't have any milk. All she knew before coming to the farm was being a puppy maker, and you could tell she must have been such a good mama to her babies.  She was the sweetest pea and we loved her so.

She is missed so much. Rest In Sweet Peace Goo Goo Girl.

Pickles The Lamb

We lost our precious baby Pickles on November 3, 2024.  Our hearts ache at his loss.

We raised him from a 4 day old abandoned baby. feeding bottles every 2 hours and letting him live in the house for 2 months.  Boy was that both a wonderful experience and a lesson in undecorating your house to avoid all the kid's artwork from being eaten off the fridge.

He grew up around all ages of people, being the inspiration for and star of the show for Making Pickles With Pickles.  He will be missed by so many.

This little man was 1 day shy of being 11 months old when we lost him.  We learned a very hard lesson when it comes to sheep.  Even the smallest amount of copper in their diet can cause their demise.  We lost Pickles to Copper Poisoning and the guilt is overwhelming.

REST IN SWEET PEACE MY LOVE

Taloola The Turkey

Sweet Miss Taloola Turkey met an untimely demise on November 2, 2024. She was so sweet and silly, we will miss her dearly.  We pray that her loss was swift, we give her body back to the earth and know St. Francis is with her giving her all the meal worms she wants.

Rest Easy Sweet Girl

Wanda Brown

Wanda Brown came to the farm many years ago.  This beautiful lionhead bunny was a big part of our farm. She has been in many people's Easter and Spring family photos and has given us a lot of smiles.

She passed away in 2024 from old age.  We are so happy we were able to rescue and give her a long life of love here on the farm.

We miss you Wanda Brown. Enjoy all the dandelions and clover up in Heaven.

Genesis 1:25

"God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good."
